About the facility A fast-paced level 2 trauma center is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. About the facility location The facility is located near Salem, Oregon. About the clinician's workday This position requires MDs to be 100% hands-on, working Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5:30 PM with no call responsibilities. As a Level 2 trauma center, the case mix includes trauma, general, neurosurgery, spine, orthopedics, urology, vascular, retina, gynecology, occasional ENT, healthy pediatrics, electrophysiology, GI, and pulmonology procedures. Anesthesiologists will also manage a high volume of outpatient surgeries, requiring quick turnovers and an understanding of outpatient care philosophy. Strong ultrasound, regional, and neuraxial skills are essential, as the Salem team has a busy regional service. The facility utilizes an effective AIC model to support hospital partners.
