Description Vaughan Regional Medical Center is currently seeking to fill a Same Day Surgery/Pre Admit Testing RN position. Under the direction of the Director and/or Charge Nurse, performs a variety of duties as a scrub nurse and circulating nurse. Utilizes the nursing process in the implementation of the medical plan of care for patients. Provides patient care in accordance with hospital and nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care. Experience in Same Day Surgery Highly Recommended. Qualifications • Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently registered to practice in the State of Alabama. • A minimum of one (1) year of hospital staff nurse experience is preferred. • BLS, ACLS, PALS required or must obtained within 30 days (BLS), 60 days (ACLS), 90 days (PALS) of employment. • CNOR certification preferred. • Must be able to take call for surgery.
