Maintenance Technician I (CA,IL,MN) - Full-time

Summary of Position:

The Maintenance Technician I repairs and performs maintenance on various food plant equipment, systems and related machinery panels.

Functions of the Position:

• Troubleshoots and repairs plant equipment, systems and related machinery panels.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Utilizes hand and power tools to facilitate work.
• Work on fabricating necessary parts as needed.
• Assists in other building maintenance or repair activities as needed.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five plus years of experience in repair, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical components and wiring.
• Knowledge of electrical trouble shooting up to 480v.
• Must be able to work from extended heights.
  

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
