Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety./ph3Responsibilities/h3divul liComply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud/li liComply with and reinforce all food safety, sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management/li liUnderstand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers/li liUnderstand and follow the company guidelines on computerized inventory management, control, and ordering of all medications, devices, supplements and supplies/li liMaintain departmental standards including keeping clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areas/li liCount, measure and prepare specified product using company best practices/li liComplete billing procedures adequately to assure best value to the customer and the company/li liAnswer phone and triage calls and answer inquiries as appropriate/li liUnderstand and adhere to guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons, limits on cash shortages and company shrink guidelines/li liUnderstand and follow the company guidelines on the operation of the cash register and follow all cashier handling policies to prevent loss including tendering electronic fund transactions such as Credit/Debit Cards, EBT and Gift Cards, as well as cash and check transactions/li liProvide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing/li liAssist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist’s professional judgement/li liUnderstand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and the company’s policies regarding the same/li liSupport company health and wellness initiatives/li liPut away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries/li liAbility to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment/li liAbility to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner/li liAbility to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information/li liAbility to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues/li liProvide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults/li liMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationbr/nbsp;/li /ul/divh3Qualifications/h3divMINIMUMnbsp; ul liHigh School Diploma or GED/li liMust be 18 years old/li liAbility to handle highly confidential information/li liMeets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position/li /ulDESIREDnbsp; ul liAny previous comparable experience/li liAny equivalent experience of a pharmacy clerk/li liEPRN familiarity/li /ul/divh2Company/h2divdiv From one tiny Cincinnati grocery store more than a century ago, we’ve grown into what today is the nation’s largest grocer with nearly 2,800 stores in 35 states operating under 28 different names.
