Certified Top Workplaces- 5 years running!/strong/p p /p pstrongemPay Rate: $16.50/Hour, Plus Tips opportunity!/em/strong/p pstrongPURPOSE/strong/p pThe barback is responsible for keeping their assigned area clean and well stocked, working in conjunction with the bartender and providing fast, effective and accurate bar and bar related services./p pbr /strongDUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/p ul liProvide service to bartenders in a timely manner/li liPrepare all mixes and garnishes/li liEnsure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine and consumable items/li liKeep bar top clean and free of dirty glasses, dirty ashtrays, trash, etc. throughout shift/li liKeep back bar clean and organized/li liClean all spills immediately and place all trash in proper receptacles /li liSweep and mop as needed/li liEmpty trash as necessary/li liAssist with loading/unloading of miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food and beverage product/li liMaintain opening/closing liquor, beer, wine and consumables par/li liEnsure all stocking is complete, requisitions are filled out and any shortage of stock is reported/li liProvide guests with accurate and thorough information regarding menu items, pricing, and allergen information/li liRecognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business/li liRespond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessary/li liMonitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring to a manager’s attention/li liInform management of any complaint, comments or incident/li liEnsure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed/li liRecord and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to management immediately’/li liMove furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to: tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, and equipment/li liComply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws/li liMaintain company safety and sanitation standardsbr /Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned./li /ul pbr /strongQUALIFICATIONS SKILLS/strong/p ul liHigh School Diploma preferred/li liProof of eligibility to work in the United States/li liValid Driver’s License/li li21+ years of age/li liPossession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards/li liMinimum of one (1) years related experience/li liExperience with POS systems/li liFamiliarity with beer and spirits/li liProper lifting techniques/li liGuest relations/li liSanitation and safety/li liSafe alcohol service/li liFull service restaurant operations/li liAbility to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public/li /ul pbr /strongWORKING CONDITIONS/strong/p pemThe working conditions described below are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
