pIf you would like to be part of a collaborative, supportive and caring team, we look forward to receiving your application!  /p pstrongEssential duties and responsibilities include the following:br //strongbr /• Prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting prescribed medications orders; detecting therapeutic br /incompatibilities. br /• Direct and verify pharmacy technician order fulfillment; verifying their order entry data, medication preparation and br /labeling of pharmaceuticalsbr /• Correspond with lead pharmacy technician on daily RX capacity to ensure effective workflow and efficient br /medication deliverybr /• Provide pharmacological information to facilities and other health care professionals on drug interaction, side effects, br /dosage and storage of pharmaceutical’s br /• Maintain pharmacy services procedures to ensure quality assurance and security concerning order, delivery and br /prepacking verification and controlled substance records as required by lawbr /• Provide after hour on-call coverage as required br /• Communicate information effectively to supervisor and others in a timely matterbr /• Maintain proficiency with computer systemsbr /• Analyze processes and work with employees to develop and implement ways to improve internal and external quality br /and continually seek ways for improvementbr /• Organize and maintain all vaccination recordsbr /• Administer COVID-19 Vaccines and/or other vaccines as needed br /• Monitor and maintain all vaccine inventory levels, including proper storage techniquesbr /• Coordinate all vaccine clinics with facility staff and facility service coordinatorsbr /• Complete Medication Reviews such as Medication Management (MTM), Comprehensive Medication br /Reviews(CMR), Targeted Medication Reviews(TMR), and/or Targeted Intervention(TIP) as requested. br /• Maintain confidentiality of work related information and materials in compliance with HIPAA regulationsbr /• Adhere to the principles of the Employee Standards and Code of Conduct and reports any violationsbr /• Knowledgeable and compliant with current company policies and procedures and state and federal regulationsbr /• Attends meetings and in-services as requiredbr /• Other duties as assigned.br /br /strongRequired Knowledge:br //strong br /• Work requires advanced knowledge of geriatric pharmacy, medication dispensing software and practices, CMS and br /other state/federal regulations/p pstrongRequired Skills/strong:/p pMust possess required skills and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable br /accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performedbr /Requiredbr /• Maintaining an established work schedulebr /• Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacybr /• Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow throughbr /• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationshipsbr /• Effectively demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and continually strives to improve quality standardsbr /br /strongRequired Work Experience:br //strongbr /• One (1) to Three (3) years of pharmacy experiencebr /• One (1) or more years of vaccine administration experiencebr /• One (1) or more years of Medication Therapy Management (MTM) or equivalentbr /br /strongRequired Computer Skills:br //strong br /• Framework LTC Software Systembr /• Framework ECM Software System br /• Other pharmacy related softwarebr /br /strongOther Requirementsbr //strongbr /• Must have reliable transportationbr /• Must have valid driver’s licensebr /• Must have COVID-19 vaccination or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine upon hirebr /strongbr /Certification Requirements:br //strong br /• Active Tennessee Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist Licensebr /• Must complete continuing education as required by Tennessee Department of Healthbr /• Active Alabama Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License (optional)br /• Must complete continuing education as required by Alabama Department of Healthbr /• Pharmacist Vaccination Trainingbr /• Active CPR certificationbr /strongbr /Education Requirements:/strong/p pbr /• Graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education with a Doctor br /of Pharmacy degree or equivalent/p pstrongEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER/strong/p pThis Organization is an equal opportunity employer.
