Warehouse Material Handler - Full-time

pThe Warehouse Material Coordinator is responsible for managing the accurate receipt, inspection, and allocation of materials and equipment within the warehouse to support manufacturing operations. This role works closely with the Dock Controller and Receiving Administrator to ensure all goods are properly checked, documented, and assigned to active projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and focused on maintaining inventory accuracy and stock availability to meet project requirements.brbr This role supports a plant with approximately 200 employees and is part of a $7.2 billion global manufacturing company./pEssential Job Functions ul liCheck and verify all incoming goods against delivery paperwork and purchase orders./li liWork closely with the Dock Controller to ensure all materials have proper documentation before being received./li liInspect incoming materials for accuracy, damage, or missing components./li liFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving and coordinate with the Receiving Administrator for compliance./li liRecord data for incoming stock using manual logs or company inventory systems./li liOrganize and stage materials and equipment needed for each production or customer project./li liMaintain accurate stock levels and allocate materials to appropriate projects based on work orders./li liEnsure materials are stored safely and labeled correctly in designated warehouse locations./li liAssist with cycle counts and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy./li liUnderstand and follow material issues, receiving, and shipping procedures in the storeroom./li /ulQualifications ul liHigh School Diploma or GED required./li li1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or material coordination role, preferably in a manufacturing environment./li liFamiliarity with inventory systems and ability to use handheld scanners or computer software./li liAbility to read and interpret packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders./li liStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping./li liExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities./li liEffective communication and teamwork skills./li liForklift certification or willingness to complete company-provided training./li /ulPhysical Requirements ul liAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly./li liAbility to stand, bend, twist, reach, and perform physical activities for extended periods./li liComfortable working in warehouse conditions, including temperature variations and noise levels./li liAbility to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely./li /ulWork Environment ul liManufacturing and warehouse environment.br • Exposure to moving machinery, loud noise, and varying environmental conditions.br • Required to follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)./li /ul div style="border-bottom:1.5pt solid windowtext; border-left-style:none; border-right-style:none; border-top-style:none; mso-element:para-border-div; padding:0in 0in 7.0pt" pspanAt Vertiv, we offer the stability of a global leader in a growing industry iandnbsp;/ithe opportunity of a startup.
