h2About the Department/h2pstrongJOB SUMMARY/strongbrThe Lab Assistant is responsible for maintaining the KCC lab facilities in a manner which optimizes lab course delivery. nbsp; Will be responsible for the overall upkeep of the lab and assisting instructors with lab courses./ph2Position Duties/h2pstrongESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strongnbsp;brnbsp;Include the following (other duties may be assigned):brulliMaintains and organizes the lab materials, supplies, and equipment.liEnsures that sufficient materials and supplies are available for lab courses.liSets up labs for courses including assembling necessary materials and equipment.liCleans and returns materials and equipment after lab course(s). Replenishes materials and supplies as necessary.liAssists instructor with provision of labs/monitoring of students during lab coursesliHelps in the preparation of various teaching aids.nbsp;liDuring lab classes, directed by lab instructor to assist students with lab assignments./ulnbsp;strongPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS/strongnbsp;brulliFrequently moving from stationary sitting positions to standing and walking.liAbility to bend, pull, push, and lift up to 50 pounds/ulnbsp;brbr/ph2Minimum Qualifications/h2pstrongQUALIFICATIONSnbsp;/strongbrTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
