We supply large retailers who sell the product in sizable quantities. Our emphasis is on providing high quality plant material along with superior customer service!/ppbr//ppWe are looking for a Team Lead to supervise and direct a team of merchandisers at retail level, throughout our stores. Plant knowledge is helpful to this position. The right candidate will be skilled at multi-tasking, prioritizing and solving problems./ppbr//ppRequirements/ppstrongSupervisory Responsibilities:/strong/pulliRecruit, interview, hire, and train Seasonal Merchandisers in your market./liliOversees the daily workflow of the Market./liliHandles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy./liliWill be working in Walmart garden centers./liliCover 5-10 stores within the territory/liliHelp merchandisers set stores, interact with vendors, customers and store personnel./liliMerchandise live plants./liliTravel between stores./li/ulpbr//ppstrongEssential Duties:/strong/pulliTrain and assist team to:/liliExecute retail merchandising tasks including product placement, display and signage/liliTrain store associates on correct watering practices./liliImplement retail schematics and merchandising materials as assigned/liliEnsure merchandising is done to the standard set by Walmart/liliTrain retailers to perform scheduled tasks/liliAbility to lift up to 25 lbs./liliTake photos of displays and upload to OneDrive/liliEffectively meet company and client objectives/liliInteract and communicate effectively with store management, associates amp; suppliers/liliProvide exceptional customer service/liliStrictly adhere to weekly hour budget provided/liliVisit every store each week/liliWork with merchandisers in store on a regular basis (possible documentation)/liliConstant communication with Regional Manager via email, text, call./liliReport issues immediately to Regional Manager/liliSubmit schedules for yourself and merchandisers to Regional Manager by Friday evening of previous week, communicate any changes to Regional Manager/liliSaturday hours required, April through October. May be required to work holidays in peak season./liliTime off must be approved by Regional Manager/li/ulpbr//ppstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliExcellent verbal and written communication skills/liliExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills/liliExcellent attention to detail/liliStrong leadership skills/liliEnjoy working outside with annual and perennial flowers/liliPlant knowledge a plus/liliMust be able to work in all types of weather conditions/liliMust possess a smart phone/liliDriver license and reliable transportation required/liliFull-time/Seasonal position. 40 hours/wk plus some extra hours during the busy season.
