pDescription/ppstrongPackaging Operator in Pittsville, WI./strong strongStarting $16.50, plus $1,000 sign on bonus./strong/ppbr//ppstrongBenefits:/strong/pulliVacation: 40 hours after 90 days of employment 80 hours after one year of employment/liliHolidays: 8 designated/lili401K: company matches ½ up to 5%/liliMedical Plans: 2 options through Security Health both having a Health Savings account with the company contributing $1,500 a year./liliDental and vision, Life Insurance, Short/Long Term Disability: plans available./li/ulpstrongSchedule:/strong/pulli2-2-3 schedule 2 days on 2 days off 3 days on following week 2 days off 2 days on 3 days off/lili6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am / $2.00 shift differential for night shift/liliScheduled holidays off/li/ulpThe strongPackaging Associate/strong prepares products and packaging to meet customer specifications in compliance with the company’s Safe Quality Food Program./ppbr/ustrongCore Responsibilities/Essential Functions:/strong/u/pulliOperation, troubleshooting, and sanitation of Packaging Room and equipment./liliPalletizing product for shipment to customer./liliCollect and manage SDC bits./liliClean bits’ grates as needed./liliPerform equipment checks at established intervals during processing to ensure product quality and equipment performance./liliKeep production area free of wooden pallets by removing broke down pallets./liliRestock wooden pallets or slip sheets as needed./liliClear floor of berries to prevent excessively slippery conditions and poor housekeeping./liliKeep packaging room full of the proper production boxes./liliPerform Pre-Operational Inspections./liliMaintain product traceability of finished product on Packaging Traceability log sheet./liliPossess understanding of SDC HACCP Plan CCP1 and properly execute CCP1./liliConduct weight checks and metal detector checks./liliChange bag inserter roll on bag machine when empty./liliKeep box erector full of boxes./liliWrap pallets./liliForklift checks/operation (approved personnel only)./liliRun electric pallet jack/regular pallet jack (approved personnel only)/liliProvide proper chemical usage./liliAnticipate problem areas of engagements and questions that will arise./liliMust be able to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish various production goals./liliEnter data on production sheets. All required paperwork must be clear, legible, complete, and accurate./liliAssist with any special projects at the request of Management./li/ulpstrongWork Environment:/strong/pulliHair restraints are required.
