pDescription/ppstrongPosition:/strong/ppThe Club Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day youth development and staff procedures. The Club Coordinator will plan activities, train and inform youth development staff, oversee the recreation component of the program on a daily basis, and support organizational efforts for recruitment and retention. The Club Coordinator is also responsible for collaborating and maintaining relationships with our community partners./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliDesign and implement programs for youth members/liliPlan field trips/liliCoordinate special events/liliAssist volunteers when assigned/liliResponsible for program reports, particularly BGCA reporting/liliEvaluate program staff on a regular basis/liliEnsure Club Attendance goals are on target by working with schools, attending community events, etc/liliEnsures that Youth Development program areas are appropriately staffed for youth activities/liliAssures students are safe and engaged in activities/liliEncourages emotional, social, and educational growth of individual students/liliResponsible for collaborating and maintaining relationships with our community partners/liliResponsible for collecting outcome measurements such as pre and post test assessments for grant deliverables and BGCA/liliDirect supervision of Youth Development and Program Specialists/liliProvide all materials for Youth Development and Program Specialists/liliOversees that program areas are left cleaned and organized at the end of the day by the program staff/liliOther possible responsibilities pertaining to the club include, but are not limited to:/liliStaff supervision/liliData Entry/liliChaperone for field trips/li/ulpbr//ppRequirements/ppstrongKnowledge:/strong/ppDemonstrate knowledge of principles related to youth development, management, ability to plan effectively, group leadership skills, including and understanding of group dynamics and discipline and understanding of the population of youth served./ppstrongScope of Authority:/strong/ppThe Youth Program Coordinator’s direct supervisor is the Director of Club Services and assistant Club Director. The Youth Program Coordinator oversees Youth Development Specialists within their Scope of Responsibilities./ppstrongEducation:/strong/ppEmployees need to be 21 or older and be enrolled in college or have some college courses./ppstrongSkills Needed:/strong/pulliCommunicate, listen and understand the children and youth development program staff. Provide them with correct and timely information and feedback when requested./liliDecision Making: Youth coordinator will identify problems and discuss the best solution with his or her staff. If a solution cannot be reached, teen coordinator will contact the assistant club director and if needed, the director of club services, in order to resolve the problem./liliLeadership–Be a Role Model for Co-Workers, youth development staff, volunteers and especially members. Enhance and encourage the members to strive to meet their goals./liliPersonal Initiative to work and to achieve higher levels of responsibility to better serve the youth in all programs./liliPlanning and organizing by coming in and working on special days to accomplish the task and goals needed to implement the programs and activities for our youth such as: Youth of the Year Award, Youth of the Month Award, annual Gala, and other organization events./liliPromote a Safe, and healthy environment. Making sure that the members know the safety rules of the Club are understood and met./li/ulpstrongDesired Qualifications:/strong/ppDesire and ability to work with children/pulliAbility to accept supervision and guidance/liliGood character, integrity and adaptability/liliEnthusiasm, good judgment, patience and self-control/liliPositive example for youth and peers in appearance, attitude and behavior/liliMust participate in required trainings by the Club, County, State, and/or funders./liliAbility to plan and implement programming/li/ulpstrongOther Requirements:/strong/pulliMust be at least 21 years old/liliBe enrolled in college or have some college credits/liliMust be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test/liliMust attend all staff meetings./liliResponsible for all activities or program areas that you are in charge of from the beginning to the end./liliBe able to maintain high level of energy./liliBe adaptable and be flexible to change./liliAssume other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/li/ulpSalary: $17-$20 Per Hour/ppHours: 25-30 Hours Per Week/ppAvailability: nbsp;Mon-Fri (1:00pm-8:30pm)/p
