This role involves taking meal orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The position requires patience, professionalism, and the ability to interact positively with senior residents./ppRequirements/ppstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/pp• Greet residents and guests warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued./pp• Take meal orders accurately and efficiently, accommodating dietary preferences and restrictions./pp• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct orders and presentation standards./pp• Assist residents with their dining needs, including helping those with limited mobility or other challenges./pp• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables, resetting for the next meal, and tidying serving stations./pp• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring all serving areas and utensils are hygienic./pp• Monitor residents for any special requests or concerns during meals and address them promptly./pp• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding menu items, dietary restrictions, and special orders./pp• Assist with special events, including setup, service, and cleanup./pp• Adhere to facility protocols and guidelines, including maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor./ppstrongQualifications:/strong/pp• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is preferred./pp• Strong communication and interpersonal skills./pp• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude./pp• Knowledge of or willingness to learn about dietary needs and restrictions for senior residents./pp• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays, and perform light lifting./pp• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing excellent service to residents./ppstrongKey Attributes:/strong/pp• Friendly and approachable demeanor./pp• Attention to detail and accuracy in taking and serving orders./pp• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment./pp• Understanding and respect for the needs and preferences of senior residents./ppstrongReports To:/strong Dining Room Supervisor or Food Service Manager/p
