Back of House Team Members are responsible for following recipes, food prep, and proper execution of Fuku menu items. This role is also responsible for adhering to food safety measures to ensure that everything in the kitchen is done to properly follow Department of Health (DOH) guidelines./pp./ppstrongDuties and Responsibilities:/strong/pulliResponsible for prepping, assembling, cooking and cooling of all food products to Fuku recipe guidelines and health code specifications./liliResponsible for all fryer cooking. Properly portion all food items such as chicken, and fries prior to cooking./liliCarefully wraps and stores all food items, labels all stored items, and ensures proper product rotation using first in/first out procedures (FIFO)./liliMaintains proper organization and the highest level of cleanliness of all food storage and preparation areas including cleaning dishes and the dish area./liliMaintains cleanliness and upkeep of kitchen and equipment at all times./liliResponsible for communicating openly and thoroughly with supervisors,nbsp;/li/ulpJob Type: Part-time, Seasonal/ppPay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour/ppExpected hours: 10 – 30 per week/ppRequirements/ppstrongKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities/strong/pulli2+ years of fry cook experience/liliHigh school graduate or equivalent desired, culinary school or equivalent work experience desired/liliMust be able to communicate and understand the language(s) of the work location/liliBasic knowledge of kitchen equipment and procedures, safety and sanitation regulations, and knowledge of food and food production/liliFood Handlers Certificate a plus/liliGeneral knowledge of food items, spices, ingredients/liliMust be able to read and execute recipes (in grams)s./li/ulpstrongPhysical Demands/strongThe physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, squatting, traveling from location to location, and moving intermittently during working hours. Ability to travel as business needs dictate to assist with Fuku events and concessions. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations. Subject to wet floors, temperature extremes, and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly quartered environment.
