Our work environment is extraordinary and being honored as one of the 2024 Zweig Best Firms to Work For exemplifies our appreciation and respect for our dedicated staff./p pstrongAbout the role, Your Impact/strong/p pYou will need to be available to represent our municipal clients in the management and observation of activities related to Wastewater, Water, and Infrastructure construction, start-up, and operation of municipal water distribution and wastewater collections system projects located in Bloomington, IL./p pTypes of projects include: wastewater treatment plants and lift stations water main, water pumping and booster stations, storm water collection and distribution systems, and associated pipelines and structures. Projects will require services several years in duration, with variable schedules and/or hours, and will be located at one of our construction project sites./p pstrongWhat your day-to-day will look like/strong/p ul liConduct on-site observation of work, repairs, and testing, as needed./li liRecommend alterations to development and design to improve the quality of projects./li liManage multiple small and large projects successfully./li liMonitor progress schedule and shop drawings./li liProvide general civil engineering and municipal client service./li liRequires effective communication, both oral and written, with residents, businesses, and public agency representative./li liResolve construction conflicts and prepare cost-effective solutions./li liEndeavor to provide protection for owner against defects and deficiencies in the work./li liServe as liaison with contractor, working principally through contractor�s superintendent./li liMaintain job site records of Daily Reports, job meeting minutes, approved shop drawing submittals, and pay requests./li liMaintain records of time, equipment, and material needs for any changes in the work that may result in a change order. Review and request adjustments of compensation and/or contract time./li liPrepare payment estimates./li liAddress resident complaints and concerns./li liCoordinate with the contractor and other duties as needed or assigned./li liUtilize Spatial Technology tools to document and report on progress./li /ul pstrongEducation Requirements/strong/p ul li pHigh School diploma or equivalent./p /li /ul pstrongMust-haves, what you will bring/strong/p ul li p15+ years of municipal work or relevant work experience./p /li /ul pstrongPreferred Qualifications/strong/p ul liB.S. degree in Civil Engineering/li liLicensed Professional Engineer/li /ul pstrongCompensation - /strongThe hourly rate for this role is $45.00 to $55.00.
