An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal./li/ul Qualifications: p style="margin: 0px;"strongMinimum Qualifications (Required):/strong/pulliMust be 18 years of age or older/liliMust be able to work in the United States without sponsorship/liliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)/lili1-year industrial electricity experience with 480-, 110-, and 24-volt systems/liliBend Conduits using hand benders, mechanical benders or hydraulic benders/liliKnowledge of the use of power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, knock punches and any tools associated with the electrical industry/liliRead, write, and orally communicate in English and ability to work with no or little supervision/liliFlexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"strongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/pulli3-5 years’ experience as an electrician/liliJourneyman or master electrician/liliExperience working with general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment./liliHave a good working knowledge of the tasks required to perform on all phases of electrical work in accordance with the latest edition of the American Electricians’ Handbook, Local and National Electrical Codes./liliSlaughter meat industry experience/liliBilingual English / Spanish/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"strongKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:/strong/pulliGood communication skills/liliExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability/liliTroubleshooting skills to determine electrical malfunctions/liliAbility to identify wires by their distinct colors/liliDemonstrable ability to interpret electrical drawings and blueprints to complete projects/liliMaintain all work sites clean and in order/liliComplete all required paperwork/liliDemonstrate safe work habits and proper care of equipment and tools/liliInstall new or modified electrical installations consistent with local and national codes./liliPlan electrical installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"strongPhysical Demands/strong/pp style="margin: 0px;"The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
