You'll help us make a difference while making some great connections and friendships along the way.br br bDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/bbr br • Enter orders, schedule work and production, supervise and train team members, receive, store, and stock items, check dates, track and record loss, and does all department tasks as needed.br • Review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.br • Perform markdowns.br • Check inventory daily, remove out of date items, put loaded pallets into cooler, select, stock, restock items, and maintain displays.br • Direct daily activities to be completed by the team members scheduled that day.br • Responsible for achieving all key performance indicators (KPI) for the department.br • Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, all tools and equipment, all display cases, all floors, and all counters.br br bQUALIFICATIONS/bbr br • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.br • Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner and to comply with company policies and safety regulations.br • Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.br • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.br • Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.br • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.br • Must be able to perform all job functions safely.br • Must meet the company performance standards for the job.br • Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.br • Must adhere to and direct all food safety requirements for the produce department.br • Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.br • Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training (this is a job specific requirement).br • Must have keyboarding skills.br • Must complete the in-house forklift-training program (this is a job specific requirement).br • Must have and maintain valid any specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position.br br bPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/bbr br •Shift hours: 8-hour shifts or more depending upon business needsbr •Job cycles: continual maxbr •Lift/carry: 50 lbs.br •Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%br •Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.br •Max pull static: 20 lbs.br br PREFERRED REQUIREMENTSbr br •Team members are responsible for understanding company policy and procedures as promulgated in the policy and procedure manual and the team member handbook.br br The GIANT Company is an equal opportunity employer.
