Your responsibilities include:/strong/pulliFiling all medical records in alphabetical order adhering to color-coded system./liliFiling and attaching medical information in each medical record according to dates of incarceration or date of service./liliObtaining physician’s signatures on all diagnostic studies./liliProviding records as requested by health providers and administrative staff./liliScheduling appointments with outside consulting health professionals./liliPreparing monthly statistics./liliPerforming secretarial duties.strong /strong/li/ul Qualifications: p style="margin: 0px;"strongConsidered a plus:/strong We will prefer candidates with training in an accredited medical records program or a minimum of one (1) year of experience in an established medical records system.\/pp style="margin: 0px;" /pp style="margin: 0px;"strongMinimum Requirements/strong/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent certification required./liliTraining in an accredited medical records program or a minimum of one (1) year of experience in an established medical records system preferred./liliWorking knowledge of business English, math, good grammar and spelling skills, and ability to develop correspondence, reports and operational directives required. Must have a proven history of exercising discretion and retaining confidentiality./liliSolid organizational and communication skills.
