He/she is responsible for responding immediately to all emergency situations in the community and is required to demonstrate the acts and principles of exemplary customer service to all internal and external customers at all times./p pstrongJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/p ul li pThe EMT Safety Officer is responsible for responding immediately to all emergency situations in the community�practices proper First Responder protocols and life safety policies and procedures./p /li li pAssists the Safety Director with random mock testing and training of staff to ensure emergency preparedness. The EMT Safety Officer is the highest-trained medical response officer within the Safety Department./p /li li pMakes scheduled rounds across the community, both inside and outside the buildings, to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property, employees, as well as company property. Medical bag/A.E.D. should always accompany EMT Safety Officer making rounds./p /li li pReceives all persons who enter the Community at the Safety Kiosk in a courteous manner, informs, guides, directs, or otherwise assists residents, visitors, staff, or vendors tactfully and congenially to protect and present the best possible image of the Community./p /li li pAssists with daily door monitoring checks, maintains departmental emergency equipment and supplies to ensure proper functioning, ensures compliance with policies procedures, and reports all discrepancies and unsafe conditions to the Safety Director./p /li /ul pRegularly maintain contact/communication with other Safety personnel during the course of the shift./p pThe EMT Safety Officer is required to demonstrate the acts and principles of exemplary customer service/hospitality to all internal and external customers at all times.
