pDescription/ppstrongThe Hilton Garden Inn Uniontown/strong is looking for a strongHousekeeping Room Attendant/strong to help our team continue to provide exceptional service to our guests./ppbr//ppnbsp;/ppstrongPurpose of the Position:/strong/ppResponsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and any other area which may be assigned according to hotel and brand standards./ppstrongEssential responsibilities:/strong/pp· Maintains a clean and well stocked cart at all times./pp· Follows appropriate entry requirements for guestrooms./pp· Cleans the guest rooms assigned according to hotel and brand standards./pp· Properly utilize cleaning agents that are supplied only by the hotel./pp· Records room status on assignment sheet and codes by phone./pp· Reports any damage or hazards that are present in guest rooms, i.e., burned out light bulbs, broken furniture, working order of bathroom, etc./pp· Ensures that guest rooms are secured at all times./pp· Keeps chute rooms and linen rooms neat and secured at all times./pp· Follows the proper lost and found procedures./pp· All keys assigned must be signed in and out daily./ppstrongOther Responsibilities:/strong/pp· Attends company orientation and other meetings as required./pp· Adheres to all policies and procedures./pp· Is expected to perform any related duty as requested by supervisor./pp· Assists other team members when needed./pp· Follows safety, security and emergency procedures and rules./pp· Utilizes protective equipment./pp· Reports accidents, injuries, hazards, near misses, defective equipment, property damage or loss to supervisor./ppstrongPhysical Demands/Abilities:/strong/pp· Communicate effectively with guests and team members, i.e., provide information, answer questions, etc./pp· Written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork./pp· Stand and/or walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods./pp· Must be able to lift thirty-pounds (30) pounds on an individual basis, pushing two/pp· hundred (200) pound carts, or collectively helping team members move larger/pp· loads than the weight limits listed above./pp· Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment./pp· Visually inspect rooms for asymmetry, cleanliness, and possibly guest belongings that have been left behind in vacant rooms./pp· Work in an environment that is demanding and physical with fluctuating adverse/pp· temperatures./pp· Frequent reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, walking, standing, stair climbing,/pp· handling, and smiling./ppbr//ppJob Types: Part-time, Full-time/ppSalary: $11-13 per hour/ppbr//ppExperience:/pulliCommunication Skills: 1 year (Preferred)/lilicleaning: 1 year (Preferred)/li/ulpEducation:/pulliHigh school or equivalent (Preferred)/li/ulpTypical start time:/pulli8AM/li/ulpTypical end time:/pulli5PM/li/ulpPay Frequency:/pulliBi weeklynbsp;/li/ulpRequirements/ppnbsp;Schedule:/pulli8 Hour Shift/liliDay shift/liliHolidays/liliMonday to Friday/liliWeekends/li/ul
