strongCompany Description:/strongpPlants amp; Goodwin, Inc. is the industry expert in plugging and abandonment operations in the Appalachian Basin./pstrongJob Description:/strongpThis position is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.#xa0; Heavy equipment may include, but is not limited to, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, rollers and/or excavators./pulli$24 - $30 per hour starting wage./liliHealth, life, dental, vision, and supplementary insurance benefits available./lili401(k) matching./liliAbility to work flexible schedule and out-of-town overnight stays./lili$55 per hour per diem when out of town./li/ulpCompany sponsored strongCDL Program/strong available for#xa0;eligible employees/pstrongQualifications:/strongpstrongPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES/strong:/ppbr • Operates all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to allbr #xa0;relevant legislation, policies, and procedures./pp• Performs daily safety and maintenance checks/pp• Interacts with construction general laborers and/or crew members who are facilitating alignment, movement, and adjustment of the equipment to complete conformation of grade specifications for the construction project/pp• Interacts with residents and members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner/pp• Makes note of and reports any complaints from members of the public/pp• Cleans heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required/pp• Ensures heavy equipment is safely and securely stored/pp• Participates in routine maintenance/pp• Practices workplace safety/pp• Maintains inventory/pp• Ensures access to houses and locations/pp• Uses equipment to level roads and ensure proper drainage/pp• Performs other duties as assigned/pstrongAdditional Information:/strongpstrongKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:/strong/ppOne (1) to two (2) years of experience using construction tools and equipment including air hammer, concrete saw, patent scaffolding, trench digging equipment, etc./pp• Knowledge of operation of front-end loaders, dozers, graders, excavators, and other pieces of heavy equipment/pp• Knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques/pp• Knowledge of signals used to signal operators of construction machinery/pp• Knowledge of equipment cleaning standards and procedures/pp• Working knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry.br •#xa0;Ability to keep company proprietary information confidential/pp• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals/pp• Effective communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people at different levels within the organization/pp• Ability to work various schedules including nights / weekends and local / regional travel.br #xa0;/ppAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines./p
