pspanThe Production Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery in a sheet metal fabrication and roll forming operation. $30.00-$32.00 per hour. 5am-1:30 pm M-F./span/p p style="text-align: justify;"strongspanESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES /span/strongspaninclude the following. Other duties may be assigned./span/p ul li style="text-align: justify;"spanEnsures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. /span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanLocates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. /span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanRemoves defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts./span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanDetermines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. /span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanAdjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges./span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanControls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance./span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanFabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment./span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanMaintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt./span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanConserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results./span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanProvides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. /span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanPrepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends./span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanMaintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks./span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanMaintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs./span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations./span/li li style="text-align: justify;"spanContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed./span/li /ul p style="text-align: justify;"strongspan /span/strong/p p style="text-align: justify;"strongspanQUALIFICATIONS:  /span/strongspanThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and abilities required to perform this job successfully.
