pspanWhiskey Cake is seeking a Barback!/span/p p /p pspanstrongBarback:/strong/span/p pspan Assist the bar staff in any way possible to ensure great guest experiences and a smooth shift for the entire restaurant. /span/p pspanstrongResponsibilities:/strong/span/p ul lispanInteracting with guests and staff members professionally and positively./span/li lispanAssist the bar staff in filling ice wells, as well as stocking wells with the necessary amount of liquor bottles./span/li lispanEnsuring beer bottles, wine, and cordials are stocked./span/li lispanRefilling and dating mixers, juices, and syrups./span/li lispanCut fruit and other garnishes, and make sure the bar is set up for success./span/li lispanEmpty bus tubs and prebus the bar top./span/li lispanMake batch cocktails according to proper recipes, as well as understand the batch system to ensure proper changing of canisters./span/li lispanArriving for the shift on time and ready to work in proper uniform./span/li lispanUse juicing machines in a safe, sanitary manner, while ensuring pars for the bar are met./span/li lispanFollowing directions from management, as well as the bartenders./span/li lispanAll barbacks should have extensive knowledge of the menu and should be able to answer any guest’s questions about food or drinks./span/li lispanObtain and update any required certifications./span/li lispanSet up and break down the bar area before and after each shift, while cleaning floors, bar top, and wells./span/li lispanEmptying trash cans and washing dishes using the bar machine. /span/li /ul pspanstrongQualifications:/strong/span/p ul lispanStanding for long periods./span/li lispanAble to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment./span/li lispanAble to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./span/li lispanAble to read and follow recipes for juices and batch cocktails./span/li lispanProperly use a knife and other kitchen equipment./span/li lispanMaintain all necessary certifications./span/li /ul pstrongspan /span/strong/p
