The Catering Attendant must be able to provide ongoing cleaning and service to clientele. p style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:left"span class="emphasis-2"Job Description:/span/ppspanbESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/b/span/pullispanGreet customers in a polite, positive manner.  Anticipate customers’ needs and respond promptly.   /span/lilispanMonitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned area or catered event./span/lilispanSet up, monitor, refresh, and break-down catered event according to group requirements and management direction./span/lilispanRestock items for next service.  Properly store all reusable items./span/lilispanResolve customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.  Alert management when needed./span/lilispanMaintain awareness of safety issues, and report them immediately to your manager. /span/li/ulpspanbSKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE/b/span/pullispanPartial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred./span/lilispanStrong sanitation habits./span/lilispanStrong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers. /span/lilispanAbility to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management. /span/li/ulpspanbPHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS/b/span/pullispanMoving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit.  Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment. /span/lilispanLifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally./span/lilispanAbility to stand for the entire work day. /span/lilispanClimbing steps regularly. /span/lilispanWithstanding temperature extremes in freezer, refrigerator walk-in and grill areas./span/lilispanReading and writing work-related documents in English./span/lilispanSpeech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English./span/lilispanConstantly communicates and receives verbal communication with other employees in fast-paced kitchen./span/lilispanPhysical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties. /span/li/ulpspanbEQUIPMENT USED/b/span/pullispanCoffee equipment- grinders, brewers, etc./span/lilispanCommercial kitchen equipment.   /span/li/ulp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:left"Founded in 1917, Guest Services has worked tirelessly to earn the reputation as the premier hospitality management company and National Park Service concessionaire in the United States.
