Pool Attendant - Part Time (Austin, TX, US) - Part-time

p /p p /p h3bOVERVIEW/b/h3 pPool Attendants must maintain a clean and sanitary pool area and ensure that all safety equipment is present at and around the pool area at all times./p p /p h3bJOB DUTIES/b/h3 ul liTests and balances pool chemicals. Documents as required by state and local regulations/li liMonitors and adjusts pool temperature as directed/li liCleans and vacuums pool, cleans skimmer baskets, backwashes pool filters, and skims the pool with skimmer as needed/li liMonitors residents entering and exiting the pool area. Ensures the state capacity is not exceeded/li liEnsures all posted pool rules are being adhered to/li liEnsures safety equipment is present and in working order. Checks first aid kit for needed supplies on a daily basis/li liCleans and maintains pool bathroom daily, including keeping them stocked with supplies and free of standing water/li liSweeps the pool deck and all surrounding areas daily/li liStraightens pool furniture regularly, ensuring that furniture is clean and in working order at all times/li liReports any non-working or damaged furniture to the Community Manager or immediate supervisor/li liGardens and removes weeds in commons areas as needed/li liOther duties as assigned/li liCleans the clubhouse and surrounding common areas as needed/li /ul p /p p /p h3bREQUIREMENTS/b/h3 ul liMust be 18 years of age or older/li liValid driver's license and good driving record/li liAbility to endure seasonal temperatures/li liFlexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hours/li liAbility to follow verbal and written instructions/li liGood verbal communication skills/li liBasic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and internet/li /ul p /p pbPERKS/BENEFITS/b/p pAt Sun Communities, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded and transformed.
