h2About the Department/h2pUnder supervision, performs cleaning duties by keeping Recreation Center facility clean and orderly, as well as setup for and cleanup after events, meetings and rentals./ph2Position Duties/h2pulliReports to the Recreation Center Supervisor and/or the Custodial Services Coordinator./liliThis position exercises no supervision over others./li/ul/ph2Minimum Qualifications/h2pdiv style="text-align: center;"strongemThe following functions amp; duties are typical for this position. nbsp;Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address City needs and changing business practices./em/strong/divbrbrSweep, scrub, strip, and wax floors; vacuum carpets; clean and care for laminate wood floors and carpets.brbrDust, polish, and clean furniture and woodwork.brbrEmpty and clean waste receptacles.brbrWash windows, mirrors, walls - painted and wood - and doors; clean and sanitize restrooms.brbrArrange furniture and equipment; turn out lights and lock and unlock doors and windows; replace light bulbs and clean light fixtures.brbrReplenish supplies (including cleaning rags, wet and dry mop heads) and maintain equipment.brbrSchedule weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning.brbrWrite work requests or otherwise report on things that need to be repaired.brbrUpdate MSDS manual as needed.brbrHandle and use hand tools and equipment.brbrClean and sanitize kitchen and wet bar facilities.brbrDrop off tablecloths to be laundered; pick up and return to inventory.brbrGather rental items left at the facility and schedule the pick-up of items.
