h2About the Department/h2pThe Federal Work Study Program provides jobs for students at Black Hawk College demonstrating financial need. Eligible students typically work between 6 - 15 hours per week.brbrIn order to qualify for the Federal Work Study Program, you must:br* Receive Financial Aidbr* Be approved for Work Study by Financial Aid and Human Resourcesbr* Current BHC student enrolled in 6 or more credit hours per semesterbr* Cumulative 2.0 GPA (per the Academic Progress Policynbsp;emspanspana href="http://www.bhc.edu/academic-progress" style="color: inherit;text-decoration: underline;" target="blank"www.bhc.edu/academic-progress/a)/span/span/embrbrBHC students who don't meet the above eligibility requirements, may be eligible for non-Work Study positions. These positions are subject to budget limitations/availability of funds and are not always available.nbsp;/ph2Position Duties/h2pThe college's campus services department seeks a student worker/work study employee to assist in the mail room, shipping and receiving, print shop, etc.brbrFlexible work hours available. Department is open 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.nbsp;nbsp;brbrExamples of duties include:brbrProviding customer servicebrMaking copies (including stapling, collating, etc)brDelivering mail around campus / picking up mailbrAssisting with shipping and receiving dutiesbrAnswering phonesbrUsing a computerbrnbsp;/ph2Minimum Qualifications/h2p* Current BHC studentbr* Customer Service/Ability to work with the publicbrbrbr/ph2Other Qualifications/h2pspan style="color: inherit;font-style: normal;text-indent: 0.0px;"The supervisor or hiring manager of a department or area at BHC will review applications and contact you should they wish to schedule an interview.
