They are expected to keep all aspects of the bar stocked and orderly as well as providing courteous and enthusiastic guest interaction while upholding company standards and values in a busy, fast paced environment./ppstrongEssential Functions/strong/pulliStock/restock appropriate areas of the bar with alcohol, glassware, ice and supplies/liliArrange and set-up beverages, mixes, garnishes and supplies, and prepare drink mixes/liliAvailable to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends/liliSafely and effectively transport filled glass racks, ice and cases of liquor, beer and wine/liliAbility to safely tolerate hands being exposed to liquids frequently, including water, cleaning solutions, alcohol, various juices and other liquids/liliSafely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives and blenders/liliAbility to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction/liliAbility to multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment/liliWork in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels/liliClean and bus bar top as well as nearby tables/liliKeep bartenders and managers updated on tapped kegs; consult with management on keg switches/li/ulpRequirements/pulliGreet guests with a warm, sincere smile/liliSafely and properly change beer kegs, CO2 tanks and soda bibs/liliManually wash and sanitize glassware using a three compartment sink and dish machine/liliAccount for and maintain the security of all bar stock and inventory/liliAbility to recognize an intoxicated guest, refuse to overserve guests and seek out management with any concerns about a guest that appears intoxicated/liliComply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures/liliSuccessfully complete alcohol awareness training/liliFollow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook/liliGet along well with others and be a team player/liliOther duties will be assigned as needed/li/ulpstrongPhysical Demands/strong/ppThe physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 165 pounds, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
