div class="mobile-apply-btn" a class="apply-link-marker button apply-button model-full-width branding-button-color" href="/Recruiting/Jobs/Apply/2740596" onclick="" style="width: 100%;"Apply/a /div div class="vertical-padding" div class="job-listing-header"Job Type/div divFull-time/div /div div class="job-listing-header"Description/div divpnbsp;brThe Behavior Specialist Assistant-Residential is responsible to evaluate behavioral issues, assist with the development and implementation of behavior plans, complete required documentation, furnish data for psychiatric consults, develop and implement in-service training, assist in educating treatment team members and participate in Agency activities.brustrongESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/uUnder the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), role responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:/pulliEvaluate behavioral issues for all individuals in one or more IRA./liliAssist in developing and implementing individual behavior plans and on-going services through consultation with staff, evaluation of data, and observation of behavior problems./liliComplete all required documentation according to program regulations./liliFurnish data for individuals’ psychiatric consults and provide counseling services./liliDevelop and implement in-service training on behavior management for staff./liliAssist in educating treatment team members about services or issues within the scope of behavior management and mental health./liliParticipate in activities as part of the treatment team that may include meetings, appointments, trainings, and committees./liliEvaluate behavioral issues for all individuals in assigned IRAs./liliProvide relevant and assigned trainings, specific to the implementation behavioral programs, to staff within IRAs./liliEnsure compliance with all pertinent government and Agency regulations and operating standards./liliMaintain and regularly compile data and documentation to be reviewed by supervisor as required./liliContribute to a positive work environment through collaborative teamwork and positive communication in alignment with Kelberman’s culture, values and mission./liliDemonstrate excellent work attendance by being punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts and meetings./liliEnsure compliance with all pertinent government and agency regulations and operating standards./liliAdhere to mandatory reporting requirements and HIPAA laws./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpustrongWORK ENVIRONMENT amp; PHYSICAL DEMANDS/strong/u/pulliJob related tasks may involve possible exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue or spills or splashes from these substances. However, those who are not RBT certified will be required to complete certification modules, competency assessment, and pass the certification exam within 6 months of being hired./liliBasic Computer Skills (Windows, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel)/liliMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances are warranted./liliThis position has regular and substantial unsupervised or unrestricted physical contact with individuals receiving services and is required by law to be fingerprinted for a criminal history record check under OPWDD (Office for People with Developmental Disabilities) or OMH (Office of Mental Health)/liliTravel and transport is required.
