All employees and volunteers are required to cooperate with any investigation of abuse, and must have the ability to pass all local, state, national and international background checks before they are eligible for hire, and each year thereafter.strongDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong:Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:/pulliPunctual and reliable attendance, including the ability to open a classroom at 7am or close a classroom until 6pm if scheduled/liliMaintain positive relations with supervisor and co-workers/liliWelcome parents, maintain positive working relationships, and report daily on child’s activities/liliAssist in the implementing daily curriculum and activities for children/liliAssist in managing a classroom in ratio, and manage independently as required/liliLearn and use Boys amp; Girls Club behavior guidance techniques including modeling the behavior you want to see, praise, building positive relationships with children, and realistic expectations based on children’s age and abilities/liliAssist in supporting individual children who need more support, or different support than a typically behaving child/liliLearn and work with teaching team to follow all licensing standards including maintaining adult to child ratios, consistently implementing the routine, maintaining children’s daily records, and having child focused interactions in the classroom/liliMaintain and keep a clean and sanitary classroom at all times, and assist in upkeep of all child care areas as required/liliWrite accurate incident reports and deliver within 1 hour to CDC office as needed/liliDispense medications to children as needed, and only as permitted by parents and child care licensing regulations/liliAdminister first aid as stipulated in child care licensing and certification standards/liliAssist in all licensed child care programs as needed, or as assigned by supervisor/liliSet and work towards yearly professional development goals based on Tier I of Alaska’s Core Knowledge amp; Competencies (AK CKC’s)/liliAttend all required trainings for child care licensing, and the Learn amp; Grow Program, and as assigned/li/ulpbr//p
