The primary responsibility of this role is to install and replace locks on delivery lockers. This position requires an individual or team of two (based on location) to efficiently process lock installations and/or /replacements, with an expected minimum output of eight locks per day. Daily local travel in the greater New York area required. Training will be provided./p p /p pstrongKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/p p /p ul listrongInstallation and Replacement:/strong Perform the installation and replacement of E-locks on collection and cluster boxes, ensuring all installations meet required standards./li listrongRecord Keeping:/strong Maintain accurate and detailed records of each installation, including time taken, any issues encountered, and the status of each lock./li listrongAdministrative Support:/strong Assist in managing necessary administrative tasks, including documentation, scheduling, and reporting./li listrongTravel Coordination:/strong Efficiently plan daily routes to minimize travel time between installation sites./li listrongEquipment Handling:/strong Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use at each installation site./li listrongCommunication:/strong Coordinate with team members and location/site representatives to ensure smooth and timely completion of projects./li /ul pstrong /strong/p pstrongTECHNICAL SKILLS/strong/p ul listrongElectrical Knowledge:/strong Understanding of basic electrical concepts and ability to work with wiring and circuits./li listrongMechanical Skills/strong: Proficiency in using hand and power tools to install and maintain lock systems./li listrongReading Technical Manuals/strong: Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics related to electronic locks./li listrongTroubleshooting/strong: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix issues with electronic lock systems./li /ul pstrong /strong/p pstrongREQUIRMENTS/strong/p ul liGood communication/li liAbility to work in a team/li /ul p /p pstrongLICENSES CERTIFICATIONS/strong/p ul liValid Driver’s license required, including access to a vehicle as position requires traveling/li liAbility to get USPS badge required (background check, drug screen, residing in the US for at least 5 years)/li /ul p /p pstrongPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:/strong/p ul liLift 40 lbs. to waist height/li liBend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time/li liVisual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs/li /ul
