Department/Unit Summary Our Post Cardiac Cath department is a 24-patient bed unit with a 6:1 patient ratio. We operate with a daily Float Charge RN and 1-2 PCA’s per shift. We also have a Discharge Nurse Monday-Thursday for the entire hospital (day shift only).

Qualifications: Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN. Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS – Required within 6 months of hire. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Minimum of 1 year nursing experience. Relief charge experience preferred.
