Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Overtime paid after 48 hours worked
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically critical care and acute care units
• Every 2-3 weekends required (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Every other holiday rotation required
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Wisconsin RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years cardiac experience required
• Skills with Swan-Ganz catheters, IABP, and post-op cardiac patients required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Patient ratio: 2:1 for CRRT, 1:1 for Impella
• Call back permitted but not required with 1-hour response time
• Subject to low census in hour increments as needed
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

This healthcare organization operates a 12-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit specializing in post-operative cardiac care, acute myocardial infarction, cardiogenic shock, and induced hypothermia treatments. The facility provides comprehensive critical care services with advanced cardiac procedures including frequent cardioversions and line placements. The unit maintains high standards for cardiac care and utilizes modern technology to support complex cardiac patients requiring intensive monitoring and specialized interventions.
