\n \nOpportunity:
\nRN - CVICU
\nJob Details:
\n• 13-week contract
\n • 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n • Guaranteed 36 hours per week
\n • Every 2-3 weekends required, Friday/Saturday/Sunday rotation
\n • Every other holiday required
\n • Float to all inpatient units as needed, primarily critical care and acute care cluster
\n • Call pickup is permitted but not required; 1-hour response time if picking up call
\n • Unit may low census in 4-hour increments; traveler may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
\n • 12-bed Cardiac ICU managing post-op hearts, AMI, cardiogenic shock, induced hypothermia, and basic CICU cases
\n • Patient ratios: 2:1 for CRRT and 1:1 for Impella
\n • Primary procedures include post-op hearts, AMI, cardiogenic shock, frequent cardioversions, and line placement/removal
\n • Proficiency with Swans and IABP required
\n • Minimum 2 years of experience with cardiac experience required
\n • Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
\n • Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS
\n • CCRN preferred but not required
\n • EPIC charting experience preferred
\n • Must be able to work independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, and manage change effectively
\n • Scrub colors: any color
