• Active RN (Registered Nurse) license\n
• BLS (AHA) certification required\n
• NIHSS certification required\n
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (Med/Surg RN or Surgical RN experience)\n
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (Travel Nursing flexibility)\n
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills\n

\n\nPrimary Responsibilities (Med/Surg RN / Travel Nurse)\n

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients on the Med/Surg surgical unit\n
• Perform patient assessments, monitor post-operative progress, and document using MEDITECH\n
• Administer medications, IV therapies, treatments, and procedures as ordered\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
• Provide patient and family education on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up\n
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices\n
