\n\nJob Details:
\n• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
\n• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
\n• Float to all inpatient units as needed
\n• Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which can be taken in hour increments as needed
\n• Unit may low census in 4-hour increments and could require a traveler to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
\n• Work in a 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit with a fast-paced, high patient turnover environment
\n• Care for post-op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post-procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, acute CP/MI, and med/surg overflow patients including detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation, respiratory failure, and Fem Pop Bypass
\n• Typical patient ratio of 1:4
\n• Must have 1 year of strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU, Intermediate Cardiac, or Cardiac ICU) and 2 years of IMC/PCU/Tele experience
\n• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips required
\n• At least one prior travel assignment required
\n• 1 year of recent EPIC charting experience required
\n• Must be able to pass EKG test during first week of hire
\n• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
\n• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
\n• Scrub color: any color
