Newton, KS Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Full Time-Inpatient) This position maintains primary responsibility for the nursing care of patients (Adult to older Adults). Some of the duties include: administration of medications and the monitoring of responses, care that is age appropriate based on the developmental stages, identifies maladaptive or pathological responses, promotes independence, interdependence and responsibility for self and maintains the therapeutic and safe milieu. Must be a graduate of a state accredited school, registered and in good standing with the Kansas State Board of Nursing. BSN and previous psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
