Locums Surgery-Trauma Job in Florida

• Specialty: Surgeon - Trauma
• Shift Description: 12 hr primary in-house coverage, plus 12 hr secondary call
• Must be Board Certified General Surgery & Surgical Critical Care (ACS or Trauma)
• Must have 2 years recent trauma/ Acute Care Surgery experience (and case logs to support it) 28 trauma cases with an average of 7 cases per quarter within the last year, no new grads.
• Must be able to work day and night shifts
• Must have FL license

Job Description:

• 290-bed facility
• ED Volume: 46k; 33 beds
• 60 ICU beds
• Average Trauma Admits 2,500 per year.
• Emergency General Surgery (15-18 days/month)
