Locums Mammography Specialist with General Dx & Light IR Onsite Asheboro, NCWhy This Role

• Monday-Friday daytime schedule with no IR call
• Balanced mix of breast imaging, general radiology, and light interventional procedures
• Work in both hospital and MRI center settings with supportive staff
Assignment Details
• Start: ASAP
• End: Through 2025
• Schedule: M-F, 8:00a-5:00p
• EMR: Meditech
• PACS: Intelerad
Clinical Details
• Breast Imaging: 3D and digital mammography, breast ultrasounds, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies
• Fluoroscopy: Supervise and assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (3-4/day)
• General Radiology: Routine X-rays, CTs, and MRIs
• Light Interventional Procedures: Not a 100% IR role, no IR call; perform 5-6/day including image-guided biopsies, drainages, kyphoplasty, PICC line placements, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
Requirements
• Board certified
• Active NC license
• BLS and ACLS
• DEA
• Clean history
