Position Overview:

• Location: Near Townsend, Delaware
• Position Type: Full-time, permanent
• Specialty: Family Medicine (Primary Care)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday with flexible shift options (8-hour or 10-hour shifts)
• Call Schedule: Equitable call schedule, including nights and weekends
• On-Call Requirements: Shared, including weekend responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages
• Opportunity to work in a newly renovated and expanded facility
• Engage in patient education and preventive care to promote healthy lifestyles
• Potential to teach within a Family Medicine Residency program
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high standards of patient care

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (required)
• Active Delaware medical license or willingness to obtain one
• DEA certification or eligibility
• Experience working with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Clean malpractice and licensing history
• Fluency or proficiency in medical Spanish is highly desirable but not required
