A healthcare facility near Syracuse, NE is seeking a Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician for a locum tenens position. • Location: Near Syracuse, Nebraska
• Shift Type: Days with after-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities
• On Call: Nightly and weekend calls required
• Availability: October, November, and December
  • Flexible scheduling: 3-5 days over weekends or up to a full week at a time
  • Two weeks per month, with possible separation
• Hours:
  • Clinic: 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
  • Call handoff: 8:00 a.m. (weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

• Clinical Duties:
  • Maternal fetal medicine consults in clinic
  • Reading ultrasounds for MFM and general obstetrics
  • Supporting inpatient ultrasound consultations
  • Private delivery patient consultations and nurse-midwife backup (occasional)
  • Clinic patient load: 15-20 patients/day
• Hospital Responsibilities:
  • Standard maternal fetal medicine procedures in a hospital setting (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum)

• Board Certified OB/GYN with MFM Subspecialty Required
• Active Nebraska License Highly Preferred
• OB/GYN Residency & MFM Fellowship Required
• Certifications: Active BLS, DEA, NRP Required
• Clean Malpractice/Background Highly Preferred
• Local candidates (within driving distance) Highly Preferred
• Must be available for the dates specified in the job description

• Travel and Lodging:
  • Air travel, rental cars, and mileage reimbursed according to specific guidelines
  • Lodging expenses covered, with reimbursement up to 1.5x the standard rate

• Credentialing timeline: 60-90 days
• EMR System: EPIC
• Support Staff: On-site ultrasound techs and front desk support
