is is a solo practice, grossing is required. The daily volume is 10-15 cases, heavy on the small GI biopsies. Notable GYN path, Approximately 1 cancer case per week. After hours call is very rare. Weekend call is non existent.Consulting pathologists are at the sister hospital about 45 min away with available courier service. Sister hospital, Desert Regional Medical Center offers regular tumors bords and breast pretreatment conferences for CME.
