Job Opening: Physician - Emergency Medicine

Join a dynamic team of dedicated professionals at a well-respected facility located in Cambridge, Ohio. OVP Health is currently seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine or EM-experienced Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physicians to enhance our Emergency Medicine program at OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center. This family-owned physician group prioritizes the delivery of top-notch hospitalist and emergency department care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment.
• Evaluate and treat patients in a 16-bed emergency department with an annual volume of 27,000 visits.
• Work 12-hour shifts with 24-hour physician coverage and 36 hours of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support daily.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for patient documentation and management.
• Collaborate with a physician-led organization to ensure excellent patient care.
• Participate in administrative support activities on-site.
• Maintain residency within the local area for full-time positions; relocation may be required.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine -OR- Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience.
• At least 12 months or 2,000 hours of work experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Experience in performing listed emergency procedures.

License and Certification Requirements:

• OH Medical License (in hand or in process).
• Clean malpractice & licensing record.
• DEA certification (must be obtained before start).
• Proof of COVID Vaccination status.
