Job Opportunity: Locum Emergency Medicine Physician in Bay City, MI

Join a dynamic healthcare team at a leading medical facility in Bay City, Michigan, seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine physician to provide coverage from February to May 2025. This assignment is strictly onsite, with the option for 9, 10, or 12-hour shifts. Enjoy full support from a dedicated App and nursing staff, alongside complete lab and radiology services. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage and treat a daily average of 80 patients.
• Perform adult and pediatric emergency procedures, including but not limited to suturing, incision & drainage, and lumbar puncture.
• Collaborate with an efficient team comprising nurses, technicians, and radiology staff.
• Utilize Cerner EHR for patient documentation and management.
• Participate in continuous medical education and training.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (No Board Eligible candidates).
• Must possess a Michigan medical license (no exceptions).
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent Emergency Medicine experience.
• Local candidates preferred; no exceptions.
• Clean background for quick credentialing.
• Must have ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Submit specific availability for the assignment dates.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Must hold a valid Michigan state medical license.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine required.
• Current certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
