Job Opportunity: Physician - Endocrinology in Pueblo, CO

Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a well-established outpatient Endocrinology practice located in the scenic Pueblo, Colorado. This facility offers specialized care for adults in the treatment and management of diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, and osteoporosis. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent patient care in a full-time capacity.
• Manage and treat adults with diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, and osteoporosis.
• Consult with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient documentation.
• Conduct approximately 15 patient consultations daily.
• Engage in continuous learning and practice management to adapt to changes in healthcare.
• Assist in the integration of a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) on site.
• Participate in the promotion of wellness and preventive care for patients.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
• Clean malpractice history preferred.
