Job Title: Locum Physician - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team serving our nation s Veterans in Houston, Missouri! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation and Pension exams as well as Separation Health Assessments. As a part of a reputable practice, you will play a crucial role in providing care for those who have served our country.

At our facility, you have the option to work from your own office or a designated VES facility, depending on the current needs. We prioritize your convenience and will ensure that your practice location is within a 50-mile radius of Houston.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation and Pension exams.
• Perform separation health assessments.
• Engage in interview-based exams with minimal physical assessments.
• Complete required documentation, including reports and addendums.
• Participate in ongoing training and onboarding processes.
• Assess and diagnose respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Work on a PRN basis, with opportunities for half-day or full-day shifts.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing and evaluation.
• Ownership of a functional laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• AANP certification.
• Active and unrestricted medical license.
• Willing to complete necessary DMA training for certification.
• Prior experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid medical license in Missouri (MO).
• Certification number from relevant medical boards.
• DMA certification is required.
