Perm - Medical Director - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and oversight for the Maternal Fetal Medicine Service Line.
  • Collaborate with Administrative & Clinical Directors in a dyad relationship.
  • Work in partnership with OB/GYN Medical Directors.
  • Ensure high-quality care for complex maternal fetal cases.
  • Deliver comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies.
  • Coordinate care with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists.
  • Develop and enhance the Maternal Fetal Medicine program.
  • Achieve goals around quality, service excellence, and financial objectives.
  • Provide education and mentorship to medical students and residents.
  • Perform a variety of clinical procedures including robotic surgeries and laparoscopic gynecologic surgeries.
  • Offer routine well-woman care and diagnose hormonal problems.
  • Support OB nurse educators and certified lactation counselors.
  • Provide holistic obstetrical care from pre-conceptual planning to post-natal care.
Qualifications:
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Minimum of 5 years of practice experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Leadership experience is preferred.
  • Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
  • DEA license (or willingness to obtain).
  • BLS and ACLS (or willingness to obtain).
  • Clean malpractice history is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Michigan medical license.
  • DEA registration.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
