The Opportunity

  • The incoming Neurologist will have his/her clinic at RMH Healthcare Associates located at 201 Conrad Harcourt Way in Rushville. The clinic is attached to the hospital.
  • The practice utilizes Cerner for its electronic health records.
  • The Neurologist will see patients in the clinic four or five days per week.
  • He or she will create their practice schedule with the option to work a four or five-day week.
  • The incoming Neurologist can expect to see 12-14 patients per day.
  • 20 minutes for follow-up and 40 minutes for first-time visits.
  • This is an adult patient panel. If Neurologists want to see Peds, that opportunity is available.
  • The Neurologists will have the opportunity to utilize their subspecialty training and build out this area of practice.
  • On occasion, the Neurologist will go into the hospital to provide an inpatient consult. On average, this happens three to four times per month.
  • The hospital has a 1.5T MRI magnet.
  • There are no call coverage responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $400,000 Base Salary
  • Retention Bonus
  • $15,000 Relocation Allowance
  • $2,500 for CME
  • 5 additional PTO days for CME (40 hours)
  • Malpractice paid at 100%.

Candidate Parameters:

  • Board Eligible or Board-Certified in Neurology
  • EMG experience a plus
  • MD or DO
  • Good bedside manner with a focus on quality over quantity
