Family Practice - Without OB Physician - Full-time

Family Medicine Physician Opportunity in Plymouth, IN

Join a thriving practice located in the heart of Plymouth, Indiana, near the prestigious University of Notre Dame. This excellent full-time position is ideal for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician looking to make a significant impact in the community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Join a high-profile outpatient Family Medicine practice with two physicians and one nurse practitioner; OB-optional.
• Assess, evaluate, and treat patients of all ages in both hospital and medical office settings.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with supervising physicians for further care management.
• Conduct complete and accurate history and physical assessments.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; communicate results to patients effectively.
• Prescribe appropriate treatments and adjust plans based on patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding medical conditions and treatment methodologies.
• Participate in quality assurance and process improvement efforts.
• Demonstrate flexibility in schedule and responsiveness to service excellence requirements.
• Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Family Medicine (preferred).
• Indiana medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• DEA certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience working with pediatrics through geriatrics.
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR is highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current Indiana medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA certification (or willingness to obtain).
• COVID vaccination is required.
