Otolaryngology Physician

ENT with Sleep Opening - North Wilkesboro, NC

• 80 miles from Greensboro and 85 miles from Charlotte
Sleep Medicine subspecialty is desired, but not required Position Information:
• Full-time, permanent position
• Practice hours are Monday Thursday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm and Friday: 8:00 am-2:00 pm.
• Call requirement including ENT call for Emergency Department six days per month, as well as practice call.
• Performs medical history, physical examinations, routine assessments and determines treatment plan for patients.
• Sleep Medicine fellowship or subspecialty certification will evaluate patients with sleep-related issues, utilize outpatient Sleep Lab at Medical Center and/or request home sleep studies, read HST/PSG studies, and recommend plan of care
Qualifications:
• Medical degree and successful completion of an accredited Otolaryngology residency program.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology or Sleep Medicine.
• Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina.
• Certification in BCLS, ACLS required if stress tests performed or as required by specialty.
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
