Locums, Inc. is seeking Physicians with Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience for full-time services in a rural clinic in the Gallup, NM area working with the native Navajo people. The position is for one year with extensions possible. All valid state or Federal licenses acceptable. About the Opportunity:- Period of Performance is 1/1/21 to 12/31/21 w/ two years extension available- 8-10 shifts, 4 days a week. Rotating day/weekend/holiday shifts- Estimated 3 patients/hour- 70% Adult and 30% Pediatric patient volume- Provide local populace with Emergency medical care as well as high-acuity urgent care services - Located about 56 miles northeast of Gallup, NM and within 2 hours of AlbuquerqueRequirements:- Active and unrestricted state or Federal license- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine- Active and unrestricted DEA- Active BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP, and ALSO certifications mandatory- Full vaccinations and immunizations- 3 References- Continuing Medical Education
