Position Overview: Role : Permanent Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician Start Date : Mid-2025 Location : Near Germantown, NY, serving a surrounding network of facilities Schedule : Inpatient & Outpatient Balance : 1 week per month in ICU 1 week per month pulmonary consults 2 weeks per month in the outpatient office Call & Weekend Coverage : Night call 2-3 times per month, with one weekend shift Weekend coverage rotation is 1 in every 4 to 5 weeks Support Structure : Closed ICU with 24/7 Critical Care coverage Visa Sponsorship : Open to H-1B candidates; J-1 waivers are not accepted Qualifications: Board Certified/Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Required New York State Medical License (or in-process) Required DEA Certification (or willingness to obtain) Required Candidates must reside outside a 30-mile radius from local institutions to qualify Compensation & Benefits: Starting Bonus and Relocation Allowance based on distance from facility (reimbursement-based) Comprehensive Benefits : Health, vision, and dental insurance Paid malpractice coverage, including tail coverage after employment CME time and expense allowance Paid time off Retirement savings program with employer match Community Highlights: Location Benefits : Enjoy a scenic, affordable, and vibrant community offering both urban amenities and outdoor recreation near Germantown, NY.
